The Creative Days Vienna gather creative minds from around the world for two days of digital events.
The participants at Creative Days Vienna are breaking new ground in architecture, design, film, gaming, fashion, music and visual arts. Their work focuses on questions about the impact of current technological and social developments on the creative industries and the city and the ensuing opportunities and challenges.
A talk programme with renowned international experts such as Francesca Bria (innovation economist and digital policy expert), Dead Centre (directors-duo), Greg Lynn (architect), Cornelia Sollfrank (artist & researcher) and Xiaowei Wang (artist & engineer) will provide relevant insights into the for main topics, we are focusing on this year: Future Communities, Future Spaces, Future Experiences and Future Production.
In the mornings there will be the possibility to meet the speakers and other experts in one-to-one networking sessions, exchange ideas and establish new partnerships and cooperations with other creatives and experts.
With our experiences, tours, podcasts and film documentaries we want to provide insights into the workplaces and working methods of cultural institutions and creative professionals. We will, just to name a few, visit Marlies Wirth at the Museum of Applied Arts, Wade Wallerstein in the Bay Area, watch Dorian Concept during his Vinyl Production, cook together with Parvin Razavi, experience an immersive audio tour of SONIC TRACES at Heldenplatz and Severin Matusek, host of our virtual Salon - the Culture & Technology Podcast, will start the recordings of season 2 in our live podcast studio at Sophienspital Vienna.
The startup-festival ViennaUP’21 will set a visible digital signal for the global community from the end of April to mid-May. Creative Days Vienna are part of Vienna UP'21.
