Cornelia Habacher conquered the Austrian food market by innovating meat consumption. As a co-founder of the startup Rebel Meat she made eatables such as sausages more sustainable and created products that are 50% plant based, targeting consumers who want to reduce their meat intake, while not completely cutting out meat from their diet. Since the company’s founding in 2019, Conny and her team have developed 5 different products ranging from burger patties to minced meat. Their goal is to drastically reduce the meat consumption in Austria while still providing the consumer with 100% enjoyment.
In 2019 Rebel Meat was awarded organic product of the year and is now available in several restaurants and supermarket chains all over the country. Conny established Rebel Meat as an alternative to traditional meat products by combining human-centered product design with sustainability.
