A creative talk by writer Charlene Putney (Story Lead at Die Gute Fabrik, Copenhagen) on inspiration and the power of interactive storytelling
Freelance Writer, Story Lead at Die Gute Fabrik, Copenhagen
Modern games tell stories from many genres. But within every sci-fi battle or fantasy quest that captures the hearts of players, there are the seeds of real, human moments that the creators lived and breathed. And a surefire way to write these real, human moments – and make meaningful, engaging work – is having the courage to share the things that set us apart from everyone else: the things that only we can say. In this workshop, we will explore how to unleash your inner weirdo for inspiration, and how to transmute that inspiration into powerful interactive storytelling.
