25.11.2022: SUBOTRON Interactive Heritage: Legacy Lab
Develop ideas on expressing Vienna’s cultural heritage in games and interactive media
With the event series Interactive Heritage, SUBOTRON connects players from a broad range of creative fields who negotiate the potential of games and interactive experiences as a means of expression and mediator of the past, present and future of local cultural heritage in an interdisciplinary exchange.
The highlight of this year's Interactive Heritage programme is a laboratory that reflects on the possibilities of implementing the input of the three past events and raises them to a practical level.
Hobbyists, students, game developers, artists and other creatives are invited to work on ideas that negotiate Vienna’s cultural heritage.
The participants form groups and are led through a playful idea creation process, the most compelling ideas are outlined in open brainstorming sessions.
NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED! Come as you are!
The results are shared in short presentations, the informal end of the lab offers opportunities for further development of ideas and networking.
Moderation: Konstantin Mitgutsch (Playful Solutions) & Jogi Neufeld (SUBOTRON)
The event series Interactive Heritage is a cooperation project of SUBOTRON with the Vienna Business Agency.
The lab will be held in English. Participation in the lab is possible without registration and free of charge.
